This is a one of a kind design on a slip
lead, quick release leash combo that can be used either in
lurecoursing feild trials, or as a martingale style collar for
everyday use. The collar is suitable for a greyhound, saluki,
rodesian ridgeback, deerhound or other sighthound breed.
This design shows a hound hunting a
rabbit with the words Tally Ho between them. Each beaded
collar insert takes approximately 4 hours of handbeading on a
loom to complete. The lead is made of top quality nylon webbing
with solid metal rings. This collar would also make a wonderful
trophy for a race meet. I
personally design and hand bead these specialty collars and can
almost GUARANTEE you will not see another handbeaded design like
it anywhere! The finished
collar is 12" so your hound must have a neck size of
13" or larger ( measured at the smallest part of the neck
just behind the ears)

This is a truly elegant coat for your special hound. The Greyhound
OLD COUNTRY ROSE Winter Jacket's outer shell
is dusty blue cotton knit with a lovely floral
print. The entire jacket is fully lined with sage
green fleece and also sports a narrow, double fleece mock
turtleneck with 2 floral accent buttons on collar that
really add a nice touch to this coat . It
is easily slipped over the head and secured closed with
velcro.
This jacket has been
designed with deep chested breeds in mind, like the greyhound,
saluki, and sighthounds or other breeds with similar
slim body types like the doberman or pointer. The coat has
been fully taylored with ample material to conform with the
shape of your dog wrapping down to the chest and around the
rump and rear legs to provide warmth and is especially
helpful for hounds lacking significant thigh hair. The
measurements are: 25-28" in length, (measure your dog
from base of neck to base of tail) 22" maximum neck (measure
the width base of neck) and is adjustable in girth with secure
velcro strapping 31" to 33". The neckline
and front on this jacket is extra roomy for those dogs with
a wide front chest, the collar will fit loosely on a narrow
fronted hound .

ANCIENT HIEROGLYPHIC jacket's outer shell is made from
coral colored, lightweight, fancy grade knit in an
exciting hieroglyphic print. The coat is fully lined with sage
green fleece and also sports a double fleece mock turtleneck with 2
golden accent buttons for a nice finishing touch.
This jacket has been

The Greyhound Deluxe 3D BLIZZARD
BOOTS are made from Faux suede sherpa material and
feature a cordura fabric toepeice with genuine moccasin leather
slip resistant soles that have been treated with silicone for
water resistance . All stitching is done with 10 pound test
nylon thread and the entire boot is lined with plush
sheepskin like and faux fur material to keep your dogs feet and
legs insulated, warm and protected.
The original idea for
these boots was 7 years ago for my own greyhounds. They were
multipurpose bred and competitive in both showing and on the
lurecoursing field. It was imperative that the dogs stay in top
condition and that meant alot of daily exercise off lead. Being
from a cold Canadian climate where the temperate often dips 30
degrees below zero often for weeks on end it was impossible to
keep my dogs in condition or even take them for breif walks
because the greyhound, like many breeds simply cannot tolerate
these frigid temperates on their feet. The small muttluk size
boots just wouldn't stay on those long legs running through deep
snow, or to keep them on they had to be fastened so tight they
cut off circulation and the tighting of the velcro cut into the
delicate skin and dew claws which caused raw skin and bleeding
from the friction.
Thus was born the
Greyhound BLIZZARD BOOTS. They "stay put" and were
designed especially for the active greyhound to fasten securely
above the joints, not at the delicate thin skinned ankle area.
Now I have older
greyhounds, one of which has problems with dislocated toes. Her
feet must be bandaged for walks and the boots allow her to go for
walks without worry that the bandages will get wet, dirty or fall
off while she runs to her hearts content.
These boots
also benefit hounds with arthritis, bandaged or wrapped feet due
to to toe injuries, or hounds that drag there feet and or nails
when walking due to partial paralysis or ligament injuries by
protecting the foot.
The boots you
are bidding on are black. The fitted picture is of the boots
I originally made 7 years ago. These boots were a godsend
that helped my hounds keep in top shape even in the coldest
weather in addition to protecting their feet from chemicals and
salt on our streets. The new line of boots today have an improved
design and fit for your hound.
**FITTING
INSTRUCTIONS**
The sole of
these boots measure 4". To measure your dogs foot
draw a grid on a peice of paper with 1 inch squares vertically.
Place the big back stopper pad of your dogs foot on the first
line of your grid and and measure up to the the toenails.
These
boots are hand made. The finished front boots have a 4" sole
and are 6.75" in height with a 6" diamater
opening.The back boots have a 4" sole and are are
10" in height with a 6" diameter. ** Ensure you measure
the rear joint and it is 3 or fewer across or the boot will
not fit over the joint. The 3D boot gives a natural fit for
the foot and the boots fasten above the joints securely
with velcro. The length of the boots should be 1-2 inches above
the joint to ensure a proper fit and ample joint
movement.
