2011 SAGA Santa Photos
We had a great turnout for our Annual Photos with Santa at the Chinook PetSmart store. Santa only got pee'd on once and we raised funds to help us continue adopting out Greyhounds. Thanks to everyone that came out. Santa says he will see everyone again next Year!
Robert Scott McKinnon "Maddog McDermutt" meets & interviews SAGA Adopters!!
We had between 25 and 30 SAGA Greyhounds and their very proud owners out on Saturday October 29th to meet the author Robert Scott McKinnon ("Maddog McDermutt"). Maddog met lots of people and interviewed a ton of adopters and his wife, Suzy, took photo's. When his article comes out we will make sure that we post a link to it and send it to all of our Supporters.
Thanks to everyone that came out to show off their beautiful SAGA Greys and introduce Maddog to the Calgary Greyhound experience. And thanks to Maddog McDermutt for making the drive up from Montana so that we could show off our Greys to him.

Greyhound Planet Day - October 1st, 2011
Thanks to everyone that came out to show off their beautiful SAGA Greys and introduce Maddog to the Calgary Greyhound experience. And thanks to Maddog McDermutt for making the drive up from Montana so that we could show off our Greys to him.

Greyhound Planet Day is October 1, 2011. and S.A.G.A. participated with a lovely walk with their Greyhounds. Even though it rained a bit at the beginning it ended up a beautiful day.
Next year we'll try to top the turn-out, so thanks to all that came out and showed off their Greyhounds and their support for S.A.G.A.!
Thanks to everyone who came out to our 2011 AGM. We want to welcome all of the new official Members of S.A.G.A.!!! It's a great thing to support our worthy cause and we very much appreciate that support. The Members elected, at the AGM, Tineke Asma as our new Secretary and we want to welcome her and thank her for committing to help move S.A.G.A. forward!
S.A.G.A. participated in Responsible Dog Ownership Day
The S.A.G.A. Greyhounds enjoyed a lovely fall Sunday on September 25th participating in the 3rd Annual Calgary Responsible Dog Ownership Day at Bowness Park.
S.A.G.A. Tags Re-Engraving Event - Thanks for helping us raise over $600 for the Greyhounds!
We want to thank everyone that came out to the S.A.G.A. Lost Dog Tag re-engraving event at Recognitions Awards & Engravings (located at 9629 Horton Rd. SW.)
We sold Tim Horton's Coffee, baked goods and Greyhound art work.
We also raffled off two Signed Copies of "The Greyhound" by John Cooper from our book signing at Chapters on August 27th.
Thanks also to the wonderful people at Brindle Berry Photography for volunteering their time to come out and take photo's of the Greyhounds that will be used for our cards.

S.A.G.A. Greyhounds Attend Book Signing!!!
Three of the newly brought up Greyhounds attended John Cooper's signing of his latest book, "The Greyhound" and met many wonderfully new people at Chapters in The Brick Plaza on August 27th, 2011.
