SAGA has 7 greyhounds arriving on Sunday March 7th we will need some foster homes. I anticipate many will be short term fosters. If you can help please contact Mark at 403-252-7534.
The 2010 CG Calendars have been ordered. Wall calendars are $15 and desk calendars are $17. They will be in limited supply so make sure you get yours early. We hope to see S.A.G.A greyhounds in it this year!

SAGA is auctioning off a lovely greyhound statue donated by Greyhound Support Transport Inc. Miami Inc. All proceeds from this raffle will be sent to them to aid in moving more retired racers to adoption groups. The draw for the statue will be made on June 7 at 6pm. Anyone can purchase tickets but ticket money must be received by 5:45 pm Monday June 7. Tickets will be 1 for $2, 3 for $5, 6 for $10 and 14 for $20. Photos of the statue are seen in the photo section of this event and the tickets will be for sale at the BBQ Saturday June 5 from 11am to 5 pm at Westhills M&M's. The statue will be there too.
We would like to invite the public to come out to our 6th Annual Fundraising Barbeque for the Southern Alberta Greyhound Association (SAGA) on Saturday, June 5 at M&M Meat Shop located at the Westhills Shopping Centre - 256 Stewart Green SW between 11 am & 5 pm. The public can buy a hamburger or hotdog and a drink for a minimum donation $2.50. SAGA is a non-profit registered charity (Business Number 87662 9304 RR001) finding great homes for greyt greyhounds! We are raising money for transportation and medical costs for the greyhounds that we bring to Alberta. Please check out our website at www.sagaa.org. We would greatly appreciate your support to bring the public out for this wonderful fundraising event. You will also have the chance to meet retired racing greyhounds at the event!
